Gabriel Milito was born in Buenos Aires on 7 September 1980 and currently play in La Liga Spain with Barcelona. The player's full name is Gabriel Alejandro Milito it plays as a central defender or left back. Gabriel Milito is the younger brother of striker Genoa (Italy), Diego Milito.

Milito began his career with Argentine first division team, Independiente started in 1997 to 2003. In this period, Milito often face competing siblings, Diego Milito, who strengthens Racing Club. In the 2006-2007 season, Milito brothers playing one team at Real Zaragoza.

On July 10, 2007, the official Milito joined Barcelona for a fee worth 20.5 million euros with a four-year contract. Milito debut with El Barca is on 2 September 2007 against Athletic Bilbao. Milito scored his first goal for Barcelona on 24 November 2007 when the win over Recreativo Huelva.
